I read Fantasy growing up, too, Sarah. My sixth grade teacher read The Hobbit to us and I was a gonner then. It’s still a huge favorite of mine. I never did get into het romances, and as for m/m, well, I’ve always written my heroes with, at the very least, ambiguous sexuality.

I understand the sentiment, but instead of tilting at the windmill of some nebulously defined “mainstream comics” boogeyman, you’d probably be better served actively trying to get Marvel and DC to do better.
