i’m not too concerned about 1st qtr GDP. it was mostly due to the trade deficit. what’s positive is business spending is picking up though no on the inventory replenishment side. i expect this to be an anomaly with it being revised upwards and/or 2nd quarter coming in much stronger. we shall see…
My Monkey was born on the 12th! Great day to have a baby! LOL! Actually he was due on the 4th so by the twelfth ANY day was a great day to have a baby! Hahahahaha!!!!! Praying she has a safe time and that Lulu isn't as late as my babies were. McGee was 10 days over and a c-section and Monkey was 11 days over and an induction. I make them far too comfortable and they have to be forcably (sp?) removed from my body. Hehe! - Deedee
girlyou DO have Oreo in UK!! I found the whole range at Selfridges Food Hall (or some other place like that..)@DebI had to wait until last winter to finally get Oreo here in my town in south Italy. I'm a mix of 2 and 6, but 5 overall. If there's any 10 out there you'd better keep hiding!! ;-)
Hi. Cool post. There is actually a dilemma with the web internet site in firefox, and you may want to test this… The browser could be the marketplace leader and a huge portion of folks will miss your excellent writing due to this issue.

Gabe, I agree that causality is a hell of a lot harder to establish. And we don't know what's going to happen in the future. I am disputing Mencius' account of our long decline from the age of kings. It's still possible we'd have been better off sticking with kings (although just as anarchy appears to be an unstable equilibrium, I view kingship as fragile in the face of technological changes, with crypto-locked corporate sovereignty an interesting hypothetical for the future).I haven't noticed any improvement on my part, but perhaps I have less time to comment and that brings up the average quality?

You will most likely find that it’s not accurate enough and is regulated over too high a temperature range. Cooking takes place over a range of 100-250F and a degree of inaccuracy of + or – 10F is not critical. Cooking thermometers will reflect this.

I agree with Anonymous 9.11pm but I will emphasize a different aspect. Consider the example of Egypt. Egypt has had a parliament since the 19th century. Egypt, constitutionally, is a multi-party democracy and has been for forty years; but for much of that time the country has been under emergency rule. Ideas like democracy and human rights have much deeper roots in the world outside America than commentators here appear to understand. They didn't just come wafting in with Twitter or MTV.
The burger looks really good and so does the bun. We don't cook burgers that often but I might have to give this a try next time. Thankfully, my husband enjoys all kinds of foods.
