Good post. The brain science people are telling us that the more we tell ourself the same old story, the more strongly wired it becomes and the more firmly we believe it. We can choose to change our brain (neuroplasticity and all that) and our beliefs by telling ourselves a new story. Interrupt the pattern. We have to pause and notice that we’re in that old story and choose another one. And keep telling a story – or many – that will let us grow, not keep us stuck.
